About the event
Experience the stories of WWII Heroines brought to life on stage through art, dance, and music! Women of Resistance (WOR) tells the amazing, little known, stories of seven heroic women who helped the Allies defeat Fascism during WWII. Their roles were diverse, ranging from radio operators and spies, to guerilla fighters and more. Some were leaders in the entertainment industry, and others hairdressers. These are stories that inspire and empower.
Women of Resistance is a Sarasota based 501C3 that celebrates the heroic women who defeated the Nazis during WWII. Through storytelling, music and dance WOR inspires positive civic action in Sarasota, Tampa and around the world. Your support will take us from WOR to WOW!
