Revel in the stories that celebrate extraordinary women from around the globe. Through bravery, innovation, resilience, and unwavering determination, these Women of the World (WOW!) have challenged barriers, inspired progress, and changed lives. Their remarkable legacies are why they belong within the pages of Women of Resistance.

Meet Guest Writer Genevieve Pollock
Genevieve Pollock is a third year Creative Writing and Women’s Studies student at The University of South Florida, who began interning for WOR2WOW this summer. She has had a lifelong appreciation for women of history and a strong connection to feminism in all forms. She is particularly interested in LGBTQ+ issues. She primarily writes poetry, and has been published in USF’s Undergraduate Art Magazine; Thread, but is excited to expand her skills through the nonfiction blog posts.
